Hey guys, John asked me to design a logo for our team so I kinda played around for a bit and this is what I came up with, what do you think?

Looks cool but good luck getting that patch made :P

Not a basic shape = costly probably, plus the detail on gun.

And text is hard to read

Thanks man, I have a simplified version for a patch where I get rid of the detail on the OD, and I put a tan Circle around the whole thing to get rid of the awkward shape...and possibly get rid of the little text above the gun.

CAZ, I have designed many a patch and the thing I have learned is don't take an object outside the basic shape. Having the butt and the barrel protrude past the pentagon is very expensive to reproduce. I don't think you would have problems with the pentagon though. Try not to be too detailed with the weapon and make the words a reasonable size so they can be read.

This isn't my design for the patch...the one I have for that gets rid of the detail inside the pentagon and the whole thing is enclosed in a circle.

CAZ, personally I like the pentagon idea. Most patches are round. The pentagon is unique. Be different!

Yeah, but then I'm going to have to redo a lot because there were multiple layers (15 I believe) that went into this logo.
