Ok so ive been looking like crazy for a new gun and im still not completely sure what to go with so i thought id seek the expertise of you guys haha. Id really like to go with an Sr25 but i cant find any long versions in stock, so i was thinking of goin with the DBOY M4 http://www.weaponblender.com/index.php?productID=292 cuz its full metal or this one http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=154_156&products_id=4538 , i wana put a longer barrel in it ,add a silencer, and put the fps up around 400 to maybe make it somewat comparable to the SR25, wat upgrades would i have to do?
or...... can anyone recommend the best gun for around 200$

IMO, SR25s aren't all that they're cracked up to be. The only mids you can get for them are full metal and cost way more than MAG-brand midcaps, and they're a pain in the ass to fit in normal mag pouches. You'd end up having to buy new pouches for all your mags.
Also, the SR25 gearbox is basically an elongated V2 box. This is an issue (or at least it was when I was thinking about getting an SR25) because there's some parts that are SR25-specific, which makes upgrading them a little more expensive/difficult.
My opinion? Get an AK74 (or better yet, get CA's SLR105A1 Para), upgrade THAT to 400fps, and make some kind of sweet PMC loadout. :P

Since this isn't your first gun, why not save a bit and get something a little nicer.
If you have a gun right now, it can be crappy its ok. Why not get a high end finally instead of having 2 craptastic mpeg's. Just a thought, Dboy's arent the best of quality, there metal bodies will probably break before an Echo plastic Body.
DBoys is teh suck.
You have $200 saved, for a little more, you can get a CA or G&G which will blow both of your choices out the water.
This is what I'd get:
http://www.airsoftpost.com/gr16-full-size-airsoft-rifle-p-28320.html
These shoot around 380-390fps, so you're pretty much at the FPS you wanted. They come stock with a 6.04 inner barrel which is actually pretty nice and consistant. The inner barrel is the same length as the SR25, which is 509mm. For $10 more, you get a battery, charger, and 2000 bbs...all for $270 shipped.
That would be your best bet, it has the length you want, shooting around the FPS you want, and is a very reliable gun.

Thats actually a really good deal (opens wallet and counts money disappointingly)
