View Full Version : How many fills per propane tank?

hey guys, I finaly converted my gun to use propane instead of co2 and my dad was nice and gave me all the small green propane tanks we had(3). 1 was almost empty, one was half-full, and the was "proclaimed" to be brand-new. The first 2 are completely empty now after 1 game, about 6 hours. And Ive only target shot with the new one(2 mags) but its already only giving me about 3 shots out? About how many fills of gas in a Hi-Capa mag do you guys usually get from a regular small, green, propane tank?:confused:

I can't give a solid number since I've never tested. But a tank lasts me about a year. Probably 2-3 magazines per week from a Marui 226.

If we're talking about the same thing - the Coleman campstove types then, yep.

The instructions that came with my Airsoft Innovations adapter said to put a few drops into the neck of the tank every 8 magazine fills.

Yep Ive been very cautious of that.
