Amped Airsoft's new retail location announced!

Hello everyone,

Just figured I would post up some updates on Amped. 8) I am moving Amped into a permanent retail location! I will be moving in this week and hopefully be able to accept customers by the end of this week. If you would like to come pick up something, give me a call and we can meet up at the store. (I'll be at my store most of next week setting things up).

Amped will now be located at:
4146 Library Rd.
Pittsburgh PA, 15234

It's about a 3 minute walk from the T and also has bus access.

The online store is on it's way to being released as well. It will probably be finished before the store is open. (Looking at an official opening of the retail store on March 30th.)

I went down today to see the building and location, a little over an hour for me but my mom and dad both use to live around that area so its great and was extremely easy to find, infact easier then I thought haha, we made 1 turn onto library road and it was there :P

But area looks great, and building looked pretty big but I didnt look inside.

I think you should take progress pictures so we can see how its going :P

I'm looking to be open this Friday/Saturday (3-20/21) before TRP in case anyone needs anything before the game. I can also perhaps deliver at the game as well if someone were to place an order via online and didn't have time to pick it up. (However, I will not sell to anyone that hasn't requested something before hand, so make sure to either reserve something or meet me at my store before hand because I will not be at TRP to sell)

I will probably have a grand opening after I get the store finished and everything. I'll post everything as I arrange it. The grand opening, may not be till closer to summer, but I will begin solid business hours this upcoming Monday (3-30-09).

Hello everyone,

Figured I would post up some updates about Amped. 8)

Tomorrow I will be there from 1PM on if anyone would like to come pick up things for this weekend. (Keep in mind that I will NOT be selling at TRP. If anyone wants anything, they will have to contact me before hand for me to arrange pickup at TRP. NO products will be sold on-site, pickups only.) I will be in the process of unpacking everything and setting everything up. Tomorrow isn't my grand opening or anything like that, but just a way for people to get the things they need before I am totally setup. 8) Next week, I will be getting many more products in. I have a Classic Army Order, Systema Order, Magpul Order, and Prometheus Order in bound.

If anyone plans on stopping by, please give me a call at 724-366-6590 and let me know. I have two gun appointments to fill, but besides that, I'll be there setting up. 8)

I stopped by for a little over an hour yesterday (Wednesday, April 1). The place is big enough for a large arsenal, but not too big where it becomes an issue. They have the high-end stuff proudly displayed on the wall for all to lust over, but rumor has it that they may also [*gasp*] have a few mid-grades hidden shamefully under the counter, just-in-case someone may want something for their elderly grandmother, or something :rolleyes: [This is obviously a joke, as I’ve never myself yet had the privilege of owning anything greater than a CyberGun.]

The place is very clean, and has that factory-fresh-plastic smell that you often encounter opening up sealed packages from distant lands. The entire inside of the store looks like a brand new building, and everything is sparklingly pristine, including the aforementioned high-end guns n’at.

Once they get a test-fire range, and perhaps some pistols -- for people like me; who choose to enter the game with a handicap, by playing with a comparatively underpowered piece -- then all should be well.

I would like to see some high tech toys, like remote mines and stuff, but I expect that these things will materialize with time. I mean, how much can one expect of a store that isn’t even officially open yet?

The bottom line is that it is worth a visit, and I intend to go back when I can spend some more time picking Angus’ brain, and perhaps fondling all the gear that I am working hard on an excuse to buy.

And another note for those of you who would rather buy online; remember who makes this stuff possible. Keep your airsoft dollars local, where it can positively benefit our community. Those of you, who know me, know that this ideal is nothing new for me. Support the people who make this stuff possible in our community!

I am going to create a new thread to announce that as of tomorrow and from there on out, Amped will be open for business! :D Sprinkles and I just got home a bit ago after setting everything up. *creates new thread and starts putting up pictures*

Thanks for everyones support. Hopefully I'll see you guys in the upcoming weeks. 8) I'll be out and about at games on Sunday, since it's my day off. 8) Also I will be getting in a lot of new goodies including the CA PMC, UAC, Echo Zombat, and several other guns. (I think roughly 10 more guns to add to the wall.) Also going to be purchasing more display cases and filling them to the brim. lol...

Kipp: The pistols will be coming soon enough. I plan on getting in a lot of KWAs. (Probably 1 of each type to start)

I think you guys will like what you see. 8)
