well folks since i am at down time mode waiting on the donor gun for this bar i figured i would show some pictures of it so far
I have a real BAR stock on it and the reciever is made of fibreglass. So far the build is going pretty smooth and for all of you russian lovers out there the next build is going to be a PPSH 41, it should be a pretty easy and inexpensive weapon to make.
Any questions feel free to send me pm or reply to this thread

i can't wait to see how this turns out. You continue to impress me. As for the ppsh-41, if it turns out well, i may have to ask you to make me one too.

What are you using as a base gun and are you just going to paint the fiberglass or will you do something special?

well the base weapon will be a m14 since i hase the closest mags and will fit in together pretty nicely. i have just a few more final touches on getting the gearbox to fit then it should be pretty quick to finish. I don't know exactle how i am going to paint it but i know for sure to get the overall quality I want from it, i will sand and sand and add fiber glass and sand some more till i get the exact texture and thickness i want.
As for the ppsh41 good news, I have the upper reciever about 80% complete, I will also be useing a m14 as the base weapon and i am ordering some parts tomorow but so far with my estimates this should be a pretty easy and inexpensive weapon to build.

I figured an m14 has a pretty close mag but an m14 for a ppsh will take a bit of modding. I guess the gearbox fits better, but I think an mp5 has a closer mag.

for the ghwere how ever you spell it i have been up for 38 hours and i need a nap lol, i am pretty sure its doable i just have to research the avail of real steel parts or if i can fab them.
The ppsh will use real steel mags with prob a mp5 mag crammed in it and i also plan on making a winding drum for it also. When i mean based off the m14 i mean i am going to use the stock and cut it down and also use the gearbox. Thats prob the only parts off the m14 i would use lol.

Are you going to eat the spaghetti sauce or put it on the gun?
Looking good, the fiberglass much less like fiberglass now
having BARs and Tommys makes me want to do a gangster game...just need a sweet urban setting!
