So I've been looking for a good AEG to get to get seriously into airsoft with for a while now and I've decided that my best bet for my price range would be the KWA G36C off of evike.com. I was wondering if anyone has any personal experience with the gun and if it is a good buy. Or if a terrible gun what I should go with instead.

Also, I was thinking about getting a red dot and a vertical grip. I'm trying to keep both under $40 each. So any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

For 265.00 I would make sure its full metal. I don't know much about that gun but, for 265 it should be I would consider this instead- http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?products_id=29712

there are no "full metal" g36 series guns. Even the real steal version does not have a metal body, they call it a reinforced polymer body.

Thanks for the suggestion. But from what I've heard that gun isn't very reliable. It would be nice to get something that cheap though. And yeah every g36c is non-metal. Even the real thing. But I dont care so much if its metal as long as it's strong and feels good.

Get the CA G36c, I had one and loved it...but I love the M4s more so I got rid of it.

I use a classic army g36c, and love it. The only problem with with classic army, is that the upgrade parts are a bit expensive.

Nothing more than an M4. The V3 take the same gears and pistons as a V2, and most boreup kits are priced the same from the manufacturer.

the KWA G36 shoots very hot, about 425 FPS straight out of the box

the body is definitely of better quality than the TSD/echo/JG ones, but still doesnt quite match up to the CA

IMO KWA internals are sketchy, and your probably better off with the CA, then you can upgrade it or leave it stock depending on how your going to use it

I would say go with the KWA. The g36c is very well built.

Also, my m4s internals stood 7 months of abuse from an 11.1v li-po, which is pretty much the strongest battery available. If you dont go KWA, I recommend TM.

Thanks so much for all the suggestions. I'm probably getting the CA G36C sunday. Thanks again. Any external accessories anyone wants to suggest for it would be appreciated =]
