Hey, how's the attendance on fridays? I might muster the strength to make it, since it's been a while.
This Friday we are hoping for around 10 people. Usually our Fridays are a little slower than our other days, but we are hoping attendance picks up soon. 8) Hope to see you there.

Just to clarify, this price drop starts Saturday after the Yo-Joe Game. Here are our future prices:
Saturday:
If playing Yo-Joe: Admission: $20 ($5 of this goes to ghost walkers for props)
If you play Yo-Joe, your admission carries over for the entire day and gives you access to Bank Heist.
For those coming in at 3pm for Bank Heist, Admission is $15.
From Sunday on out, our admission will be $15 Friday-Sunday for repeat players. Completely new players will be $20 on their first day (unless Friday, which will be the normal price $15.). After their first visit, they gain the $5 discount for being a repeat player.
Rentals (Taken affect immediately):
$10 Shotgun Rental
$20 MP5 Rental
$5 Mask Rental
The main thing for changing our prices is to show appreciation to our customers. We reached a milestone of 1,000 customers just recently and wanted to give back to you guys. 8)
We will be making an official post on this within the next couple days.
Hope that clears it up. 8)
Thanks,
Angus

Do you think they will let in a gun at 360 fps? I know the limit is 350 but ya know its 10 fps.

We take the average of 3 shots to determine if it goes or not. We allow around a 5fps deviance at the most.

"I was wondering do alot of people show up at this field"
Yes, alot do
"How often, when is it open?"
From games I been there, 10-20 people each time I been there.
Its open saturday and sunday from what I know, 12:00-11:00 but I might be wrong, dont quote me on that one.
"What should I wear/bring"
Clothes :P Since its cold this time of year wear lots of layers, Gun or you can rent one, full face mask or you can also rent one, bbs or buy them there, food and lots of fluids to hydrate yourself.
"What kind of guns do I rent?"
Ask Angus, he can help you on that.
"How much money should I bring"
$15 to get in, $ for rentals and whatever else you will need to buy, Angus can also get your prices on anything you want.
"Is it worth my time"
YES, you are lucky to have such a awesome field close enough, Once you play you will be hooked its an amazing experience for all types of players.
No one uses sniper rifles haha, but It could be done, but dont expect to pull of any cod4 or css style kills :D

It is deff worth your time! I recently got kind of seriously into it and it is well worth it. People wise I have never gone and there was no one there. Even if it is like six people it can be tons of fun (but there is usually more which is still fun.) But if you want more people to come on a day when you're going to be there just post up a thread and get people to come. The days and hours are posted but they are friday to sunday but I'm not sure on the hours. Just wear some baggy or thick clothing (pants and a hoodie) and gloves. You can rent a mask there for $5. Guns are posted too (mp5 or shottie.) And just bring enough for a mask, gun rental, a bag of bbs, and some food. Because you will want to spend the whole day :)
As I said before, deff worth your time. And its addictive lol

Just to add to what these two have said, here's some info you requested:
Admission:
$15
Hours:
Friday (5-10pm)
Saturday (Noon-10pm)
Sunday (Noon-10pm)
Rentals:
Shotgun $10
Mp5 $20
Mask $5
On field BB costs:
$13 for a bag of .2g 4000ct
$14 for a bag of .25g 3000ct
Right now we are working on a heating solution for stagging. Till this is resolved, we will have no heat. So please dress warmly. Once playing, you will have no trouble staying warm, it's just during in between games when you cool off and will def want to have something warm on.
I encourage GLOVES! Cold weather (even in normal weather), hand hits huuurrt. So protect yourself by wearing at least some sort of gloves, even if they are thin. It's still some sort of protection.
If you come and rent a gun and decide you like it and would like to become more serious about it, our proshop (Amped Airsoft) will usually have a good many highend weapons in stock for you to check out and handle. Amped also carries other essentials needed for different airsoft needs.
Don't be afraid to ask questions, there are many seasoned players here on the forums and also that attend AA as well as run it. We will help you in anyway possible to lead you in the right decision when looking to purchase gear, weapons, and accessories. If we can't get it or if you would like to purchase else where, we can point you in the right direction.
I think I answered everything you asked. 8)
Hope to see you around!
Laterz,
Angus

It's across the tracks on the way into Homewood. I live about two blocks away and I feel safe enough. All you're doing is walking a couple feet from your car to the door so I wouldn't be worried about anything. Just don't leave like a brand new flat screen tv in your back window of your car and you'll be fine. Just be aware and you'll be fine

Exactly. Don't be sheltered. "The Hood" is nothing what you think it is and even if it was AA isnt in the hood.

I sat outside selling food for 8 hours at the last National guard game and nothing happened. So yes, I would say this location is pretty safe. Plus there is an EMT station right across the street, so it's not like this place is in the middle of the "ghetto". Anyway, hope that puts your mind at ease.

Not but seriously, Fawkes couldn't be more right. Just like don't mess with anyone like a normal neighborhood and you'll be hunkey dorey.

Have you ever been to the waterfront to go out to eat, or go see a movie, isn't that right on the edge of the "ghetto", did you feel safe there? The long and the short of it is that going to this place is just as safe as going to a movie at the waterfront, going to a bar in the southside, or going to a penguins game right next to the Hill district. You are going from your car strait into a building 20 ft. away.

I'm 17 which is somewhat young compared to some of the guys that go down there (and old compared to others) but I've never had any problems driving down there with my buddies. The area is fine, Fawkes put it best. I've even gotten lost in the area (damn gps) and drove around for a good 15 minutes pullin' into random parking lots trying to figure out how to get back on rt 8 and have never had ANY problems

YES! I love Uncle Sams! Their fries, sweet potato fries, and subs are amazing! Philly cheese steak sub with everything and a side of sweet potato fries = heaven on earth. I go to the one in Squirrel Hill on Forbes all the time.
